Here is what is slowing your site down, from the same Google check.
FAQ
Where does the load time come from?
Google PageSpeed Insights. If enough Chrome users visit your site, we use their real mobile load times (the 75th percentile of Largest Contentful Paint over the last 28 days). If not, Google runs a lab test on a simulated slow phone. Lab times run well above what visitors see, so we show the score and fixes but no cost estimate for those sites.
How do you estimate lost enquiries?
Only when real-user data exists. We compare that load time with a 2-second target using Portent's research on load time and conversion rates. The low end uses a 4.42% drop in conversions per extra second. The high end uses Portent's B2B curve. Both are capped at a 50% lift. We show a range because no single figure fits every firm.
What do the default numbers mean?
We assume 1% of visitors send an enquiry and 15% of enquiries become clients. If you know your own rates, change them under "Adjust assumptions" and the estimate updates.
Do you store my result?
Only if you ask for the full report. We then keep the details you enter and the result so we can follow up. The free check stores nothing.
My site is slow. What should I fix first?
Start with the three fixes in your full report. If the site runs on a template or a page builder with many plugins, those fixes may only go so far, and a rebuild can cost less than patching it every year.
We build on Webflow for professional services firms, so prospects trust you before the first meeting. We take on about ten projects a year.
